Samuel Associates is pleased to announce that Alienor Peyrefitte will be joining the firm as a Policy Research Intern for the Summer of 2021. Alienor will be conducting independent research and analysis into the various geopolitical issues discussed by the Policy Insights Forum (PIF), a non-partisan research division of the firm. She will be working alongside Dr. Paul Taillon, Senior Academic Advisor and co-chair of the PIF, to organize and facilitate future PIF events.

"We are delighted that Alienor will be working with us as a policy researcher this summer. We are pleased to support her with the completion of her Master's program through Laval University and her professional interest in working on strategic issues and geopolitical topics", remarks Goran Samuel Pesic, President and CEO, Samuel Associates.
"I am delighted to be joining the Samuel Associates team. I am looking forward to participating in the development of the PIF. I hope to gain more experience in conducting policy research and developing my abilities in organizing policy events, preparing insightful articles, and other publications on strategic policy issues", said Alienor Peyrefitte.

Alienor's interests include learning about international defence and security governance and how nation-state actors interact with nongovernmental agencies to tackle global and transborder terrorism challenges.

Alienor is currently completing her Master's Degree in International Relations from Laval University (Quebec). She holds a Bachelor's in Law and Political Science from Université Jean Moulin Lyon III (Lyon, France).
