NATO-Private Sector Engagement (March 30 - April 1, 2022)

The Policy Insights Form, a member of the Samuel Group of Companies, in sponsorship with NATO, is pleased to bring Canadian business leaders to NATO Headquarters for its NATO-Private Sector Engagement event from March 30 to April 1, 2022. Following the “Extraordinary Summit of NATO Heads of State and Government” last week, Chef de Mission, Vice Admiral (Ret'd) Mark Norman and Executive Chair Goran Samuel Pesic will lead a senior-level defence and security business delegation to Brussels, which will include an impressive list of innovative companies.

The list of participating companies demonstrates the urgency of NATO-Private Sector Engagement and the mutual interest of cooperation from both NATO and the private sector within member nations. Some of North America’s most influential Senior Executives will attend from prominent organizations such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Saab, Thales Canada, Satellogic, Ultra Maritime, Base Camp Connect, Dominis Engineering Ltd. and the Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange (CCTX) cybersecurity industry association and others.

The three-day visit to NATO Headquarters will cover three strategic themes: “NATO Today, Threat Environment, and Geopolitical Challenges”; “The Role of Technology, R&D, and Innovation”; and "How NATO and NATO Allies Address Procurement and Industry Relations."

Chef de Mission, Vice Admiral (Ret'd) Mark Norman prefaces the event by stating, "I'm honoured to be able to join such a distinguished group of accomplished industry leaders on this unprecedented visit. NATO is at an important moment in its storied history. Looking for innovative opportunities for cooperation that can reinforce the underlying strategic importance of the alliance is both useful and timely."
