Samuel Associates Announces New Lead Researcher Cloud Su

In response to concerns over COVID-19, Samuel Associates has invested in the right technology to ensure that our staff, associates and business professionals can work remotely. We use many remote working options and can accommodate our new interns through online collaboration tools and video conferencing platforms.

We are continuously monitoring information from the Government of Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada and are adjusting our business continuity plans as scenarios unfold.

Samuel Associates is pleased to announce that Mr. Cloud Su will be joining the firm as Lead Researcher. Mr. Su will be leading independent research into Canada's future regulatory framework for financial institutions and self-regulatory organizations. Supporting his work are financial research interns Mr. Christopher Ilic of McMaster University's DeGroote School of Business and Ms. Emma Lyu of Western University.

Mr. Su is currently a second-year Juris Doctor student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law of the University of British Columbia. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of British Columbia and a Master's degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto.
