Samuel Group Strengthens Global Legal Advisory Capacity with Appointment of Bryan Robinson as External Legal Counsel

The Samuel Group of Companies is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryan Robinson, as External Legal Counsel, supporting the Group’s activities and client engagements across Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.

Mr. Robinson will provide strategic legal counsel on cross-border regulatory and compliance matters, corporate governance, corporate finance, and international commercial engagements. His appointment reinforces the Samuel Group’s commitment to operating at the highest standards of legal integrity and governance as it supports public- and private-sector partners navigating complex international environments.

Called to the Québec Bar in 2002, Mr. Robinson has devoted his career to business law, with a focus on startups, corporate law, private equity, and corporate financing. He brings extensive experience advising on complex financing transactions and regulatory frameworks, including securities-law compliance and prospectus-exemption analysis relevant to international investors and multinational enterprises.

Alongside his legal practice, Mr. Robinson is a professor at the University of Ottawa and the Québec Bar School, where he has taught for nearly a decade in civil law, notarial law, and business law programs. His academic work complements his advisory role by ensuring clarity, rigor, and practical insight in highly technical legal matters.

Mr. Robinson also serves on the boards of Fondation Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie and the Clinique de droit notarial de l’Outaouais, reflecting a strong commitment to public service and institutional responsibility.
